Upload the audio file you want to split. The file loads in the browser and the waveform appears. For splitting by time markers, you'll add specific time positions where splits should occur. For equal-length splitting, you specify a duration and the tool creates all segments automatically. The waveform visualization helps you identify natural break points like silence gaps, applause breaks in a lecture, or transitions between songs.

Define split points

Add split points at the desired time positions along the waveform. Each split point creates a new segment boundary — you'll get N+1 segments for N split points. Use the playback controls to find natural break points. For a 60-minute podcast with three topic segments, add split points at the approximate transition moments. All segments are exported as separate files.

Export all segments

Click Export to generate all segment files. They download as a zip archive or individual files named with segment numbers. The original file is unchanged. Each exported segment maintains the audio quality of the original at the segment's start and end boundaries.
